I need ideas for goodies-to-try. What kind of yumstuff would you all be interested in seeing arrive at your place? Someone told me that I should target the 18 - 30 yr old market for my potential bakery biz, so consider this market research :D Anything goes...cakes, pastries, chocolates, candies....and be as specific as possible!
Also, we need a vote:
- guitar or violin lessons?

Violin lessons, hands down!
Personally, I'm a sucker for home-baked cookies. Especially choco-chip ones with cranberries or a kick/twist to them (chili in cookies/fudge/anything chocolate = YUM). I bought freshly backed oatmeal raisin cookies the other day, basic, I know, but mmmmm.
Oh, also, I've found my friends and coworkers like to bring in little treats to work/parties and such. In which case tiny little squares of fudge or some soft candy, super mini cupcakes, etc. are a big hit. The key is tiny (because everyone obsesses about weight), and colorful/eye-catching.
Generally i love moist pastries...not dry cakes..hehe!
violin lessons :-)
hmm chocolate raspberry truffle! we had it the other day for the bbq but everyone finished it off (said it was yum) and i didn't get any! so i'm wondering what it tasted like :D
also, i love andaa shaami burgers and mixed chaat (dahi ballay, channa, fruit, paapri, meethi chutney)...but thats of course not something you would be selling at your pretentious patisserie, haina?! ;)
yum :-)

Ginger spice cookies, maria's bombe, tiny cupcakes ( i agree with maria's comments about tiny food), souffle, zucchini bread, banana bread, cupcakes with nutella or chocolate INSIDE, crepes, molten cake, whoopie pies...can't think of any more at the moment but i'm sure there's lots...ooh pies like in that movie Waitress...those were some goodlooking pies, and we tried making one and it was really fun.
